Itinerary: Tanger Desert 8 Days Tour
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen:
This Tanger Desert 8 Days Tour begin: Departure from tangier past the city of Tetoune. To fully enjoy the breathtaking view of the landscape, We will stop to rest at Chefchaouen in a square surrounded by craft shops that radiate of the color. It is also home to many restaurants and rooftop cafes, also available in the Riads, where you can enjoy the rest of the evening with a beautiful breeze and wonderful views.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After the breakfast, your journey continues towards Volubilis, crossing Ouazan and other villages of the Rif. you will arrive Volubilis, where you can explore the Roman ruins and learn about history of Volubilis.
after the visit,we will continue our way to Meknas. stopping for lunch and explore the historical walls of the medina with Bab el Mansour, and we will visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later in the afternoon, we will go to Fez where we will spend the night in Riad .
Day 3: Fez
We will start the day exploring Morocco’s oldest city, crossing its narrow alleys and narrow streets. We will begin visit to the door of the Royal Palace. We assure you that you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region.
We will also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit many different cooperatives, then discover a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fez.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Pick up from your hotel in Fes at 08:0 am and departure for the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the switezland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have a memoriable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi n Tlghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga -Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley.
We will wake up and head to a local hotel where you can cool off and enjoy a free breakfast before heading to Ouarzazate. On the way, visit the Berber villages that visit the Todra gorge and dades valley , we stop at a local hotel where dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Valley of the Dades – Valley of the Rose – Ouarzatte – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will continue our visit to Ouarzazatte by way of a thousand Kasbah which stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival. Then we will cross Ait Ben Haddou.
Dinner and overnight in riad in Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech – Guided tours
Today we will have a guided tour of Marrakech. You will explore the main attractions and monuments of the city, including the famous Jamma el Fna Square, Kotubia Mosque, souks, palaces and museums. We will also explore parts of the city like Gueliz, Menara Gardens and Marjolle.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport
