after breakfast, we would start our Marrakech Ouzoud Waterfalls excursion by driving to Ouzoud waterfalls, located 160 km from Marrakech, in the Atlas Mountains. Those waterfalls are the most spectacular in North Africa as they are 110 meters high and are divided into 3 parts. We will have the opportunity to take a pleasant walk through the waterfalls where we can see monkeys in the area. Continuing Marrakech Ouzoud waterfalls excursion, We shall visit the traditional watermills and at noon, we will be able to enjoy a wonderful Moroccan meal with views of the waterfalls. In the afternoon we are going to go back to the city of Marrakech. therefore, we would have finished our Marrakech Ouzoud waterfalls excursion.
In the morning, we would begin our excursion to the Ourika Valley and the many small villages along the valley. We continue to Setti Fatma, where we would traipse to explore the place. afterward, we would enjoy a rewarded lunch beside the river. In the afternoon we will return to Marrakech.
Our excursion to Essaouira from Marrakesh starts after your breakfast and head to Essaouira through stops of the argan oil cooperative and the amazing photography of the goats on trees, we will arrive at the old port of Mogador, built by the Portuguese on a narrow peninsula next to a large crescent of fine sand. From the top of the Skala, we can see the fishing port, the fortresses, and the Spanish canyons. The city is largely pedestrianized and divided into different neighborhoods in a grid pattern. It is perfectly walled since the 18th century by France. Essaouira is also famous for its refined craftsmanship, especially of wooden objects (tuya) interspersed with lemonwood, ebony, mother-of-pearl, copper, or silver threads. During the visit, we can enjoy a wonderful meal in the port. finally, Return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
Early in the morning, we will start our excursion to Ouarzazate, through the high Atlas mountains enjoying the incredible views, and passing across a couple of Berber villages. Until we reach Tizi n’Tichka, the highest mountain pass at 2,260 m. However, upon reaching the south, we will notice the impressive mountains for a different semi-desert landscape along the river on the way to Ouarzazate, we would drive through the kasbahs and adobe villages. The visit to Ouarzazate, widely known as the Hollywood city of Africa. we would have a visit to the kasbah of taourirt built in 17th and that’s the former residence of bacha El Glaoui. then, to the famous Oscar studio where several movies and series have been made; “Lawrance of Arabia 1962″, ” The Hills Have Eyes 2006″, and The Game Of Thrones 2012″.
then, continuing our day trip from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate to our next destination, the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most important ancient town declared as the World Heritage Site by Unesco, and an attractive site for the international filmmakers which makes it one of the most interesting visits. In the afternoon, we take our road back to Marrakech.
