Itinerary of 9 days trip from Casablanca

Day 1Casablanca – Rabat- Chefchaouen

We pick you up from the Airport, and move to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II mosque, the biggest one in Africa, and walk by the Cournish. After that, head to Chefchaouen through Rabat to explore the city; Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Challah. In a while, we leave to Chafchaoune and enjoy the landscapes through the road. Finally, to the blue city where we spend the night in an authentic Riad in the medina.

Day 2Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After a tasty breakfast, our journey continues to Volubilis crossing Ouazan and other villages in the Rif. In Volubilis, we explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Then, to Meknes to stop for lunch and discovering the historic walls of the medina; Bab el Mansour and visit the Moulay Ismail sanctuary. In the afternoon, we finally arrive in Fez where we spend the night. in our amazing Riad into the antique Madina.

Day 3Exploring Fes

We start the day exploring the oldest city in Morocco, crossing its narrow streets. We begin the visit from the gate of the Royal Palace. We assure you that we will visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. We will also visit the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we will visit many different cooperatives like the pottery where you can try to make own handmade stuff, and you would discover a wonderful alleyways of Fez’s Madina.

Day 4 Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

In the morning, we will leave to the Atlas Mountains stopping to visit the town of Ifrane, Switzerland Of Morocco and one of the modern moroccan cities, then a stop to explore the famous cedar forest, which is home to monkeys, and through Midelt city, Tizi N’talghamt mountain pass, and the Ziz valley. Finally, arriving at Merzouga where we are to begin our new experience with camels, through the huge sand dunes and have a moment with sunset view and end it up in our beautiful camp to enjoy our time in the quietness of the Desert.

Day 5Discovering the desert of Merzouga

Today’s program is set to explore the desert and its surroundings, towns and cities. After heading out to find out Merzouga and crossing the Paris-Dakar Ralley, we enjoy a visit to the locals and watch them extracting the fossils. Then, we visit the nomads, who still take the tents as home, and share a cup of Moroccan mint tea. The village of Khamlia is our next place, This town is ancient and cultural. we would have the opportunity to discover one of the moroccan subcultures and that has been inherited from the south of Africa, the style of Gnawa Music. For lunch, we may probably try Berber Pizza (Medfouna). Then, we visit Lake of Merzouga. After that, we go back to the hotel in Merzouga.

Day 6Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Boumalen Dades

After seeing a beautiful sunrise view over the Merzouga desert, we head to visit the Todra Gorges (the highest in Morocco) via the town of Rissani, that was a trading passage from South of Africa to Marrakech time ago, and to a very old system of irrigation. Afterward, we continue to Todra Gorges (300m). Then, we go on to Boulman Dades, where we are going to spend our night.

Day 7Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

In this morning, we cross the Dadès valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dadès valley is called the path of the thousands of Kasbahs, where we are able to take many photographs. We may stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “The City of Roses”, to buy rose water, which will make the smell of your clothes much more pleasant after the trip. We continue to Ouarzazate to have a stop by the Oscar Studio, that has witnessed several international movies and series; “Gladiator 2000” and “the hills have eyes 2006”. Lunch in the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous kasbah in Morocco, UNESCO world heritage site 1987. Our journey would take us through Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260 m), in the High Atlas mountains, and have a stop by the cooperative of Argan oil before we get to Marrakech at your accommodation.

Day 8Marrakech Guided Tour

Today’s program is about to explore Marrakech‘s history, culture, and sightseeings. We find out the main attractions and monuments of the city, such as the famous Jamma el Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. We also discover parts of the city such as; Gueliz, Menara, and Majorelle gardens. Finally, to your Riad/Hotel.

Day 9Transfer to The Airport in Marrakech

Breakfast and transfer to the Airport.Therefore, we would have finished our 9 days tour from Casablanca To Marrakech via Merzouga Desert.
