2 days desert trip from Fes, In the morning around 8 am you will begin your journey southeast towards the desert of Merzouga via Azrou and Errachidia. Your first stop will be in Ifran, then you will continue to Merzouga via Midlet and the valley of Ziz. During this trip, you will catch glimpses of the Middle Atlas and the Upper Atlas Mountains. Stopping at the famous cedar forest—the largest in Morocco—where you can see the wild monkeys. After lunch, your journey continues along the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will cross the welcoming Berber villages in Rissani. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea in a riad. After spending a few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels that will take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We spend the night in a camp equipped with drums of music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to high dunes to see the sunset, and we spend the night in nomad tents.
After breakfast, we will start our trip to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Before leaving, we will visit the Dadès Gorges to continue driving to Tinghir. There will be free time to walk, take pictures, and enjoy the scenery. Then we will go to the city of Tinjdad, where we will stop for lunch, and then we will go to the desert of Merzouga, where we will explore the dunes on the backs of camels to see the beautiful desert sunset. We will arrive at the camp where a unique dinner will be waiting for us, accompanied by local nomadic Berber musicians playing traditional music with drums and dancing around a bonfire.
