Itinerary of the 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1Marrakech – High atlas Mountains - Air ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Dades Valley

Departure in the morning to Ouarzazate crossing the high Atlas “Tizi – N-Tichka” (2260m), we will have stops to visit and take pictures of the beautiful landscapes of different colors and Berber villages. Then we will visit the ancient Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou to discover its wonders. After lunch, we will continue driving through the Dadès Valley making a stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the city of Roses passing by the fascinating palace of Skoura. We arrive in Dadès Valley in the evening for dinner at the overnights at hotel.

Day 2Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga desert

After breakfast, we will start our trip to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Before leaving, we will visit the Dadès Gorges, to continue driving to Tinghir. There will be free time to walk, take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Then we will go to the city of Tinjdad where we will stop for lunch, and then we will go to the desert of Merzouga where we will explore the dunes on the back of camels to see the beautiful desert sunset. We will arrive at the camp where a unique dinner will be waiting for us accompanied by local nomadic Berber musicians playing traditional music with drums and dancing around a bonfire. Overnight at the nomad camp.

Day 3Merzouga desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise over the dunes and return by camel to the hotel to have breakfast and wash up. We will start our journey through the vast palm grove of Tafilalet via Rissani to reach the Draa Valley in Ouarzazate. We will have free time for lunch before our return to Marrakech. We will arrive in the afternoon at your hotel or at any destination (airport) to finalize our services.
